Seljuq Turks

Armies of the Seljuq (Seljuk, Saljuq) Turks and their Turkoman allies. Starting on the Central Asian Steppe, the Seljuqs ranged through Persia, Syria, the Caucasus and eventually Anatolia (modern Turkey) fighting Steppe Nomads, Ghaznavids, Abbasids, Fatamids, Byzantines, and Crusaders.
