The Alfred the Great Middle Anglo-Saxon Army Pack recreates the stalwart forces of Saxon England. The list covers the armies from the battles for control of the disparate kingdoms of Wessex, East Anglia, Mercia, Deira and Bernicia through the Viking invasions until the takeover of the Saxon kingdom by King Canute.  In the center of this period, King Alfred faced the Vikings and moved towards the eventual unification of England under one crown.

This is the Army of the fictional Uhtred of Bebbanburg and the many battles of the Last Kingdom TV Series and the film Seven Kings Must Die. It also represents the forces of King Ecgbert who faces Ragnar Lothbrook and his sons in the Vikings TV series.

Includes 3mm Laser Cut Plywood Bases for basing the army on standard 40mm width bases.
