The Saladin Ayyubid Egyptian Army Pack 1171-1250 AD recreates the fierce and effective army of the great Salah Al Din known to the West as Saladin. He united Egypt, Syria and much of Mesopotamia under his leadership. His victories over the Crusaders reversed two generations of Crusader victories and recaptured Jerusalem. Richard the Lionhearted helped launch the Third Crusade to retake Jerusalem setting of one of the most storied campaigns of the Crusader period.
